i think so

but people let the gender get in the way of how they really feel and will cover it up by denial

Of course love is gender blind! Love is friendship, helping one another, and being there for people when they need help. Most people have friends of both genders. Love goes beyond gender, sexuality, race, age, and any other "barrier".

Romantic love, of course, is another thing entirely =)

Yes, but because of the customs of society, it is poor taste to admit love for the same sex adult person.
Now when it comes to loving your children and grandchildren, your parents and siblings, their gender doesn't matter at all.

No. Mothers love sons and daughters, fathers love sons and daughters, brothers love their mother and father, sisters and brothers, sisters love mother, father, brothers and sisters.

All genders love people of different genders and same genders......but.....homosexualty never enters into that love. Pops
