They are very good. I have had mine for three years. No upgrades and it still works. They are pretty good along with hp.

The products themselves are ok, considering how little you pay for them, but the customer service is just horrible...And the management of the company has got to be one of the most comical sights. Dells are fine, so long as you don't run into any problems...Be very careful about the terms and conditions on your warranty, you should definitely read this before buying the computer, because a lot of things are not covered, and if they are not covered, they will not help you.

I'd have to guess that the person trashing Dells works for another company. I love my Dell. I've had it 2 years now with no problems whatsoever. I also used to own Dell stock (before my divorce) & made a 50% profit on it, so, they're fine with me!

I own a Dell desktop computer that I really enjoy and found that it was very affordable. I have tried HP in the past and prefer Dell again if I had to upgrade in the future.

Dells are the worst made computers on the planet, not from just experience (I have had plenty of dells to know), but because I build computers, and they suck! They choose junk parts for junk computers, and they end up going down the drain in a short time, especially their laptops. Their desktops are crap but are passable due to the low price, but they still suck! Terrible computers, and they infuriate me, I have had to stip my hard drives from these computers several times, and replace them, and upgrade sound cards and video cards, cause they are crap, just like the computer. So, my advice to you is, pleeeease don't buy one.

I have a relative who's friends had Dell and they had problems with it constantly crashing on them. But then again they may not have been good at keeping their PC in shape.

Dell is probably 1 of the best "mass produced" computers.
I would recommend building your own or having someone else build you one. That way you get exactly what you want, and more for your money.

Pretty darn good computers, their easy to start up and for the most part easy to use . I just turned mine on and it started up then it asked me few questions and after I answered them and filled in my information it took me to my desktop and I started surfing the web.
