There is no maximum %. It varies from year to year and for different reasons. It does not distinguish between time married from age of couples.
It only states that of the known marriages there have been X number of divorces. It does not include common law marriages where all you have to is live together or check into a motel as MR. and MRS. for an hour or 2.
The last statistic I heard,the rate was about 50% of marriages ended in divorce.
Also,some countries have different divorce laws. One country,the law says you only have to spin around 3 times and say "I divorce you" as you spin. No lawyers,court,no papers.

It's not at the maximum because that would be 100%. It's just at it's highest level yet.

I've heard that it was 50%. What I say is, couples need to COMMUNICATE more! That is whats missing, people are too afraid to talk to you their spouses or partners, or whatever you want to call it. Don't be afraid to open up.

it is way too easy to get a divorce these days------------rate I think is around 57%
