(more details in your email)
$140 per night http://www.mgmgrand.com/
$120 per night http://www.treasureisland.com/
$120 per night http://www.luxor.com/
(between those three, I'd say TI has the nicest pool)
For a step up in quality (and price), these are both very nice places, with spectacular pools:
$149 per night http://www.mirage.com/
$155 per night http://www.mandalaybay.com/
For better rates, you could stay somewhere older/less flashy such as
Flamingo, which happens to have a great pool area, $99 per night http://www.harrahs.com/casinos/flamingo-las-vegas/hotel-casino/property-home.shtml
And Monte Carlo is a nice classy hotel, with a great pool, but it has less in the way of restaurants, bars, shows, etc than the others:
$99 per night http://www.montecarlo.com/
And here’s a map of the Strip for you:

I just stayed at the Mirage and they have the nicest pool at a hotel I've ever seen. We were out there in March and paid $180 for a suite, however, basic rooms are lower than that and very nice overall.

I stayed at the Golden Nugget. It's on Freemont St. My boyfriend, my mom and I went to Vegas for 4 days and 3 nights, roundtrip and hotel for $800. You can get some good deals off of sites like Travelocity, Expedia, and Orbitz. I would try those and see. They normally have some Vegas getaway packages.
I would aslo recommend the Luxor because it's been on the Travel channel before and it looked really nice.

on the 4th of july getting a hotel room of the strip is a good idea, but asking now may be a little redundant, in order to get a room that low as 130$ in order to get that kind of price in nice hotel with pool, you should have made reservations a month ago. but if your lucky, best place to be is probably the palms hotel. nice place, nice pool, nice visual of the fire works.

I used to work at The Tuscany Suites and Casino. Its not a bad place. Its about a block east of the strip behind Ballys. Decent size rooms too!

Go on expedia, and make a fake trip with hotel. They will provide you a list of all hotels and their ratings, and their rates.

I've stayed at the Mirage on the higher end, and Excalibur at the lower end, and everything in between and there's not much difference.

Too bad you can't up your ante and stay at the Wynn. It is spectacular and she will thank you for it.
