I think Megan Mullally should be there.. developing a Karen Walker persona.. so she can turn a sad news to something funny and criticize people by their looks and all that..

kathy lee would be great!! then she could cheat just like frank did, then rosie can come back, and call everyone a bunch of cheaters, then joey greco can come on with the proof, then the stabbing will begin, phil dullahue might make a comeback, then we can all go to sleep until the next day.

Do you mean Kathy Griffin the red haired comedienne who has co-hosted a couple of times or Kathie Lee Gifford who was Regis Philbin's co-host for many years? BIG difference between the two. LOL s

Kathy Lee Gifford would be wonderful on there! She would be a better alternative than any of the liberals or even conservatives. But like some of the other answerers I would just assume that tha alphabet network pull the plug on The View!!!

Yeah, I like Kathy Griffin also. But I think she would wind up offending someone on the show because she disses about the stars all the time. Remember her dissing Star Jones in her act ? Pretty funny.

I'd love to see Kathie Lee back too. But she seems to be so busy with her Broadway shows, writing music, etc. I don't even see her very often on the Insider.
In today's newspaper, it said the View has not yet even contacted Roseanne.
Another conservative would balance the View out more, but I wish they'd stop talking about politics.

I would love to see her back on television as well but I am afraid she would be considered too conservative and they want to "balance" things out on the View. Roseanne Barr actually would not be a bad choice for at least she would not be as caustic as blabber mouth Rosie. Ms. Barr actually listens to people and values their opinions.

No not her maybe Lucy Lawless(Xena) cause she's such an angel or maybe Brenda Blackmon or Angela Jolie...someone who smiles often...has a sunny demeanor... Ricki Lake perhaps now that she lost some weight I heard... or maybe a goodlooking guy like that gay basketball Player from London, John Amaleshi?? A strong fit guy with caring concerns for gays, bisexuals, lesbians, etc, women, minorities, disabled, the elderly, welfare, homeless people, ....Perhaps...

Kathy Lee would be good. I'd almost like to see someone not as well known so the show could start with a clean slate.
