My Mom happily bought a new cordless desktop keyboard with optical mouse (Logitech). We only use this computer for internet surfing, the digital camera and playing pinball or card games. In other words, not heavy usage. My sister says she should take it back, because wireless technology is crap (slow response) and is a security risk. She has never even used one. What is your experience with it?

Hi. Your sister is confusing wireless devices with wireless internet. Your mouse will use batteries fastest because you use it almost constantly. The keyboard will last a long time. I use both and would never go back.

I didn't try the wireless keyboard, because I tried several wireless mice and hated the delays in response. But I know others who are perfectly happy using them -- to each his own!

From my experience it works well. Only biggest problem I have with this is battery life! You have to keep buying or recharging batteries for wireless mouse/keyboard. So I stopped using it.

Otherwise less wires, it better.
