I have been tracking my temp and one morning it was 97.1, the next it was 96.6 and the next 96.0. I just ended my period so i know its not the lowering due to my period starting, but i wanted to know if your temperature can be messed up if you are really cold in the morning. I slept with the window open the past two nights and woke up and took my temperature when i was freezing! Could that effect my temperature making it inaccurate? Thanks :)

It can affect it--when you are really cold or have wind blowing in your face, say from a fan or something, people tend to sleep with their mouths open. In general just being cold won't affect your bbt, but sleeping with your mouth open definantly will.

It shouldn't effect it too much. It's normal for some women to have their temps get lower and lower after AF. Some women experience a dip before the temp spikes at ovulation.

your hormones are still in flux during your period, so temps going down after it's over is totally normal. I doubt that a temp. change in your bedroom will cause much of a difference.
