This sounds very much like the cover of an old Tom Jones song taken from his greatest hits compilation L.P. Its not the one with Delilah on it it is one of the other two. Interestingly the original bass player left to pursue a solo career as a Bass player with the Bobby Sango quartet, a little known grouping from the mid 90's and can sometimes be heard to this day pumping out there reggae hits.

but it does sound like "chicka-bow"
