Neither, unless I am forced into a party. I rather enjoy a party of two. I do not like parties. During my 30's and 40's I was forced into doing them as an Army Command Sergeant Major Wife and was both of the two that you listed. It was a responsibility -- a "Have to Do" chore--which soon became a real "pain in the rear". Therefore, I have no real love for them any longer. Give me a party or intimacy for two and I don't label either of the two as guest or host. :o) We help each other, if you get my drift!
