No, not really. The cheating, infidelity and commitment phobia only seem to happen when the Capricorn man dates a Capricorn woman. I'm a Capricorn, and both my uncle and cousin are as well - even born on the same day as me. I've dated Capricorn men and it just never worked out. I've also dated a Gemini - and they are the worst EVER - for any sign. When the Capricorn male is in a relationship with another sign, it's more like a normal relationship, but two Caps together = disaster.

My best friend is a Male Capricorn. His pattern seems to be to go way too fast on the superficial stuff and dive into a romantic relationship way too quick. Then it fizzles out cause he can't make a long lasting connection or commitment. He says he wants to settle down, but makes no effort to indicate that to anyone. Whenever we go somewhere I have to make all the decisions and plans and he just follows along. I am a Female Leo, so we balance each other out in many ways as he just follows my lead. He is a typical Cap in that he is a hard worker and takes forever to settle on anything that may signify permanency in any aspect of his life. But he is a sweet guy, determined, and says he wants a family. Who knows how long it will take though. He is 32 and has only had 2 serious long term relationships (one was 6months and the other was 2 years)!

There's no hard & fast rule on it but we capricorns are a reserved lot, and hide all our soft squishiness under a think suit of armor which we dont like to let people in, but sometimes it can be quite fast other times it's a very slow process...
The good thing is capricorns tend to stick through almost everything so once the attachment is made it lasts for quite some time (there are exceptions of course...)

For a serious relationship, depends on alot of things. Unfortunatly I go as slow as other person goes, which is sometimes still too fast. My last gf was trying to get serious after 2 weeks, waayyy too fast for a commitment, had to let her know to slow down. Ended up committing after bout 3 months, which was still faster than i would have guessed. I dont mind being friends and doing bf/gf things (obviously)lol, but the title does make a diff. and when it happens...I dont have eyes for anyone else.

I'm a Capricorn and it could take up to an whole year before Capo, decides to settle down or not.Were very cautious about matters of the heart,we do not wear our hearts on our sleeve.I've been single for 5yrs. going on 6yrs. by choice.I have had plenty of proposals in the past.

Capricorn woman here. As far as I know Capricorns don't commit easily. Though we are very down to earth. For me personally and once again being female I like to wander. I don't mean this as cheating I mean it in the very literal sense. So if you do get him to commit don't try to tell him what to do and create space. Just my opinion for what it's worth.

it's takes us awhile to settle down because we have to get to know the person inside & outside...we dont settle quick and dont like to be pressured into anything,we have to get to get on your inside core first before we settle...thats just how we cap's work...it's our way of sayin now I know you....then we release all of our love and commitment,but we dont like to be crossed,with saturn our ruling planet it gives us the time to think out our goals to carefully examine...we separate it all in it's necessary steps and put a timetable on things...then we move,we give our all in happy relationships and we are very loyal....we have the power to know and to think beyound,capricorns and aquarius make good friends

my bf is a Capricorn and he never wants to commit, he lived with his ex for 8 yrs and never married her ( even tho they have 2 kids) and he was mad when she filed for divorce, because that meant there was a commitment. (common law marriage, Texas) he refuses to marry me, and now i finally agree with him. (Leo woman)
