Got to be white my friend, reason being presentation is more important than taste, you eat first with your eyes and any plate other than white is tacky, Take it from me I teach Food Service, I know what I am on about!

I think it depends what you're feeling at the time. When i am sad food taste best on yellow colored plates cause it reminds of brightness. When i am happy light blue plates a good cause the make me feel calm and relaxed. When i ma jealous white plates come in handy cause they make me feel simple and that i Need not be jealous. When i am ill i like to use read and black plates because they a strong colors and they Make me feel alive. good question. The ultimate color for plates though is white with a black pattern on it like black swirls or black leaves and ivy. That really makes me feel good. Combined colors are the best.

The color of the plate doesn't matter, the food will tast the same as if you were eating it off your hands.

I dont know about the food tasting better, but i know if you serve food on a white plate the food looks tastier!

Depends on the food.
Ivory for a soft natural colouration.
I say red for steak.
Blue for salads.
Why? The feeling that comes with colors.
