Damn.. I mean TWO rules: YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE MONEY AND YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE YOUR CAR.

Your rules didn’t say that you cant bring someone with you.

So I’d bring or take w/ me a translator who would speak at least ten foreign languages.

Right now petrol and diesel are both VERY EXPENSIVE - it's nearly €1.90 for petrol/diesel in many EU countries, that's the price per litre, if you want the price per gallon, you need to multiply that by 3.5 and then convert what you get to your own currency. Oh yes. Yikes. And this is on top of renting, insuring and parking that car. Think carefully on it. So you see, taking the train might indeed be your best course of action.
