She never had much journalistic heft. Her slightly manic approach served her well on the "Today Show," where that kind of personality helps to wake people up, but it's the exact opposite of what's called for on an evening news program.

I don't know what they were thinking when they put her on the evening news. If it were an entertainment show I'd say they were trying to "kill" the show without having to come right out and cancel it, but as a news show, especially in view of the heavy competition from cable, you'd think they would have put some thought into the psychology behind what type of anchor would have a hope of succeeding.

I knew the minute I heard the announcement of her move to CBS that it was a major mistake and she'd totally bomb. If I knew it, howcome people whose whole job it is to predict these sorts of things did NOT know it?

Well she makes over $300,000 an hour and she hangs out with all those left wing socialists in the media and she has become tainted by the money and those around her.
