I think there will be, because now Will and Elizabeth have a son, and Jack's lost the Pearl again, so now they have to go and get it back.

Yes, I think there will. The screenwriters, Ted Elliot and Terry Rossio, are actuallly working on a script for one. It is not official that it will be filmed, but Disney would be stupid not to make it considering all the money they would make from it.
Orlando Bloom and Kiera Knightly don't want to particiapate in any further Pirate movies, but Johnny Depp has said repeatedly that he would like to do more - indeed, there is a rumor going around (although it's just a rumor at this point) that he has already signed to do a Pirates 4 and that filming will start in 2009. Bring on POTC Fountain of Youth!!! I think it would be really cool to have Jack going to regain the Pearl with Will and Elizabeth's son - training a new generation of pirates. And how ironic that it would be Will's son, who stated very clearlly in the first movie that he made it a point of avoiding familiarity with pirates .... lol
But whatever they do, I'm sure it will be great, because Captain Jack Sparrow will sail again ... on the Black Pearl this time!......

I think there will be another pirates movie. the way it was left open, there has to be one. Considerind the Black Pearl is gone...again, and Elizabeth and Will having a son. it's left WIDE open. And plus i think Keira Knightly will change her mind and continue playing Elizabeth and Orlando Bloom will most likely play Will, Johnny Depp isn't done playing Jack.
It'll make a lot of money, with all the Pirates Fans out there!!!!

It would be nice to have a 4th and final film but the way the 3rd one ended i cant see that happening to be honest. The film was good but not great, 1&2 were fantastic. 3 had me laughing a fair bit esp when Jack is talking to his other selfs lol. The parrot saying Parlay when the monkey points a gun at him.
Sadly i dont think there will be a 4th, Will is now dead, Jack is back on the open seas looking for the Pearl. Not quite the ending i was hoping for but still a good film.

Most likely not. It would have to start where the third left off, which is ten years after the "true" story of the third ends.
That would mean that
a) Barbosa, the crew, and Jack would have been looking around the ocean for the Fountain of Youth for ten years- while other adventures finish in the span of less than a month.
b) Elizabeth and Will are pushing 30 yrs.... No one wants to see everyone old!

I hope so. Those 'Pirates' movies by Walt Disney are extremely well made and have a lot of attention to detail.
Orlando Bloom said he was not interested in doing another Pirate movie, but Johnny Depp said he was interested.
There is so much that can be done with this theme that I really hope there is a Pirates of the Carribean IV, plus they are just really fun to watch.

Apparently they may be making a 4th film, but you might have to wait a few years for it, as they need to come up with a script. Johnny Depp has already said that he wasn't finished with his character yet and would consider even a fourth and fifth film. Kiera won't be doing another as she has stated recently. As in the end of the 3rd film, jack goes of to find immortality, as it says on the map 'Aqua De Vida', which means, 'fountain of youth'. So maybe they might carry on the lines of something like that. Let's hope anyway! I would love to see a fourth!

Yes without a doubt there will be a 4th Pirate's. The 3rd movie ended wrong, something more has to happen. Also, they are making so much money off of the series that I have no doubt that a 4th movie will eventually come out.

In an interview with the director, the director did say if the cast especially Johnny Depp were willing to take part then they ay consider a fourth HOWEVER he did say without Johnny Depp there will be no more. SO basically if Johnny Depp is willing to be in a fourth then they prpobably will be.

There's a good possibility that there will be a 4th movie. The movie kind of ended with the beginning of another adventure, searching for "the Fountain of Youth"...I personally think there will be another movie, but Johnny Depp may not be part of the cast for it.

I'm not too sure! when Keira knighltey done an interview on GMTV she said she wasnt that intrested and she hasnt been approached. But if they do I think the story would be about will turner because he is now the captain of the flying dutchman ship!
