On the negative side, I hear a lot of people calling themselves losers. On the positive side, I don't hear a frequently used adjective, except maybe "hot." I blame Paris Hilton.

In my profession, I meet hundreds of people each month. However, I only know a slice of the entire human population. Commenting on the "most" is likely to be incorrect from the onset.
I find that negative self-descriptions are far more common that positive self-descriptions. But this too is saturation in my chosen profession.

I think for the sake of originality people over use the word faithful or spiritual. Because being spiritual can happen when doing almost anything I think the word gets used fairly often. Same with faithfulness. I dont really see this as a huge problem it just might be better if people had a lil wider vocabulary myself included. On the negitive side It seems like the word bad/evil gets used alot when it need not be used in place of a different word.

I like Oprah's "nice." When she was fretting over an issue saying she wanted to be nice about it. Steadman replied, "You've NEVER been nice!" She, distraught at the accusation proceeded to defend herself. He stopped her with - "You're kind, supportive, caring, authentic etc. etc. you're NOT nice." It was a leftover embed from childhood - "you have to always be nice." We all are imprinted with this kind of nonsense.

nice, cool, great, funny - but I wouldn't say "over used", just a lot used.
