Cleveland in 6. The Cavs shut down the Spurs just like they did going 2-0 in the regular season against them. While the Spurs are a better team in the playoffs than they are in the regular season the Cavs are a much better team than they were at the beginning of the season or even just a couple of weeks ago.

Your comparison to Wade last year, I'm thinking the exact same thing. LeBron Is in that zone just like Wade was against Detroit and Dallas. He picked his shots wisely and drove to the hoop when he got the slightest hole and finished strong. Sure Wade had Shaq down low creating most of the opportunities, but LeBron has the ability to catch any defense off guard. The Spurs lost to the Cavs in both regular season games this year. Cleveland has a very UNDERRATED defense. They held their opponents to under 100 points these playoffs all but two games, and they won those two games. I think all the Cavs need to win is a typical performance by James and play their game on the defensive end. Offensively, I truly believe that the Cavs are superior. Everyone talks about the Spurs being the best most experienced defense in the league, but Cleveland doesn't need to beat San Antonio's D every time down the court to have a chance. To have a chance, Cleveland needs to shut down San Antonio and play good D just like they did against the Pistons. I think its gonna happen, and all James has to do is show up, not even with his superhuman self, just play like he's had the last 3 seasons.

i think that it will bee a close series and Cavs in 7. the Cavs are coming off a Huge series win over the Pistons and they are also 2-0 against the spurs THIS season. including the Spurs home opener with a 88-81 victory. Bruce Bowen will have a hard time guarding LeBron James. although the Pistons are aging the are still a Great defensive team. the Superhuman game from LBJ in game 5 would have been the same if he played the spurs in that game. the Cavs are 7-1 at home during the postseason and have confidence, heart and the desire to win their first Championship. Cavs in 7
i posted this same answer for the opposite question but its still relevant

Interesting perspective, but it ain't gonna happen. The Cavs are a young energetic team, I'll give them that. But they will be facing the San Antonio Spurs, my friend. This will be their 3rd trip to the Finals in the last 5 years, I believe, so in my opinion, experience wins hands down here. The Spurs have been resting and waiting to see who their opponent will be in the finals and it is much needed rest for them. Yeah, I was hopin' that it would be the Pistons and the Spurs, but in the end, it won't matter. The Cavs/Pistons series was physical and emotional which will have an effect on their play in the largest "spotlight" in this game. The Spurs have been down this road and they have not only the experience, but the poise to play (and win) against the Cavs. The dream LeBron had after Game 6's "magical" win will be short-lived once they start the series against my SPURS!! Duncan will not have to dominate this series when he has players like Bowen, Parker, my man, Ginobili, Oberto, Finely, and let's not forget Old Man Horry around him. Pop has his team ready and trust me, the Spurs will NOT crumble the way the Pistons did. Can we go ahead with the "Congrats" to the Spurs for being the 2007 NBA Champions, please?

The most impressive thing I saw Lebron James do against Detroit wasn't the 48 big ones in game 5, but the way he completely took Chuancey Billups out of the series. Can he do the same to Tony Parker? Sorry, but Parker is much too quick for Lebron to stay in front of. Ok, then who else can guard Tony Parker, and keep him from getting to the rim? If Cleveland can find a consistant answer to this question, then they have a chance to win the series. Keeping Parker from penatrating to the basket keeps the big guys out of foul trouble, allowing them to foul Tim Duncan down the stretch to take advantage of his inconsistant free throw shooting. Also, it allows them to stay at home against Finley and Ginobli, and reduce the open looks behind the 3 pt line. I think that the Spurs will win in 6, but I am just trying to construct a sceairo that will allow them to win.

Spurs in six games. Cleveland is a young and strong caliber team. But the Spurs won three championships already with Duncan. LBJ has to average about 30-40 points each game in order to lift the Cavs to a championship. But I still think Lebron and the Cavaliers will put on a show for the fans.

Miami had better players around Wade than Cleveland has around Lebron. The Spurs are better than Dallas. And the game is won in the middle so I'll take Duncan over Lebron. And three (about to be four) championships over Lebron's 0.

Miami. and that's what's so incorrect with the NBA. The draft and the place LJ is going to play next twelve months are lots extra interesting and exciting. This has the entire activities worldwide speaking and that i will wager 2/3 of the folk involved interior the LJ announcement this night could no longer aid you comprehend who performed interior the NBA finals, who gained, and how many video games the sequence went. NBA is in deep complication. LJ could bypass to a city with undesirable attendence to get the NBA decrease back on the map. There are no Magic Johnsons, Larry Birds or Michael Jordans obtainable anymore to shop the league.

Spurs all the way, I've said it before. The big 3 will be great. Also think about San Antonio's roster as a whole. Horry will be playing hard for his 7th and will get some clutch shots and blocks. Oberto and Elson want their first rings as does Finley. San Antonio is ready, experienced, and not afraid to play hard (after that suns series you cant doubt their physicality). Also they have one of the best coaches in the NBA. Spurs in 7

Duncan rarely dominates games? I'm not sure who is going to guard Duncan, Parker, or Manu. You Cav fans need to realize that you are the underdog and the Spurs will win this series 9 out of 10 times. You should still cheer for your team and believe that they CAN win, but at the same time it would be an amazing upset.
