Last night i had richotta filled ravioli. They tasted like a cow smells. Did i get slipped some bad raviolli or should it taste that gamey. I didn't want to come off as a rube, so i didn't complain

Attn: Not rude, but 'rube'. New word for the day. I probably should have said something...

I don't think you would have been rude to say something. The ricotta cheese might have been spoiled even the eggs could have been bad. Better to say something before everyone gets ill.

I know what a "rube" is! The word is very expressive! As for the ravioli, EW! I might not eat it again, and I love cheese ravioli! They sound bad to me. Rube or not, you should have sent it back. It must have ruined the meal.

Maybe eating all those crayons is doing damage to your tastebuds! ;-)

Seriously, ricotta is a lovely, fresh-smelling cheese so if your ravioli smelled like a cow, the cheese had gone bad.

As someone else said, give that restaurant a miss in the future. Their quality control is severely lacking.
