C

It's asking if you know how age pyramids work. Basically, you define certain age groups (in this case, children, teenagers and adults). Then you draw little rectangles that are proportional in size the the % of the population in that category. You place the youngest generation on the bottom and work up. Center the bars, so you get a pyramid shape.

Since each successive generation has more people in it, that means the population is growing. The age pyramid will look like a triangle pointing up. If the population is shrinking, then each generation will have fewer people, and it will be an inverted triangle.

This is a sad trend that happens in many countries, especially 3rd world countries. The world simply can not support this many people!

c.

Someone else said b, but without knowing the specific numbers, no one can say how many years it will take for the population to double.
