like when i look back in my moms year book, no one was like movie star gorgeous....but now, every girl on the street is beautiful...what do you think?

I know what you mean. Look back to the early 1900s and people are really unattractive. But I don't have any idea why that might be. In a few decades, people will be too pretty to look at!

Back in the 70's there were alot of dropdead gorgeous girls all over the place. The difference is that the style of clothes, makeup, and hair have changed. We weren't all about looking 30 when we were only 18, we were alot more simple then. I wonder all the time what the girls of 15 and 16 now will look like at my age since they look as if they are in their 20's now.

I get uglier and uglier as years pass! :)
Remember that the perception of "pretty" changes over time. When you mom was in high school, people may have thought that all the girls looked like movie stars, and if they saw a modern day movie star, they might have thought her to be too skinny or not so glamorous.

That's not the case for everyone. Some people have the gift of aging like fine wine. On the other hand some people can't age well at all.
People need to take care of themselves and don't give up on their looks just because they get older.

Interesting question. I think a lot of factors go into whether or not a persons look improves with age. People who take good care of themselves and don't live unhealthy lives can really look better and better with age. There are also a lot of things that can destroy a persons beauty overtime..

Well, People are trying even harder everyday to attain the ideal of perfection that the media pushes on us.
I personally look for inner beauty. Those I love get more beautiful every day.

I am prolly your mom's age - I must say.. there were girls that were very hott back then and looked better than these fake lil things do these days!!
Everybody didn't bleach their hair, get fake boobs, plastic surgery and all those creams out there back then. Thats why you think your generation is better looking. But, nutural is better - people these days are so fake, their body parts are gonna start falling off in their later years!!!

i think its just the way you look at them. same here though. when i look back at 70s movies and stuff, the "beautiful" girls just dont seem as pretty as the women out there today. its just that fashion then was a LOT different than now.

It depends on the person. Some people have more of a wisdom to be young. While others seem to take life for granted.
