Bill Clinton gets hero's welcome
Women squealed, men gave him shout-outs, and many rushed the stage before and after he spoke for a photo, autograph or handshake.
"There's a sense of hope from Hope, Arkansas, in the room," his host, the Rev. Jesse Jackson, said in introducing the former president.

They mistakenly associate the prosperity of the 90s with Clinton and not unique circumstances in history. Worse, they place that same hope in Hillary.

The man is a misogynist, plain and simple. Not sure about the cult thing, but your point certainly has validity. There is also the issue of brainwashing, have you ever heard the MSM tell the truth about this criminal?
What I cannot understand, and you being a woman, I just have to ask, what on earth do women find attractive about that bulbous nose and the ignorant sounding drawl. I'm sorry I just don't get it.

You have continuously shown support for a President who cannot speak in complete sentences. He has repeatedly proven himself to be so blatantly ignorant, it hurts to even look at him. He has thumbed his nose at an alarmingly large amount of Americans... citizens and politicians alike... refusing to even consider curbing this endless war because he wants us to believe it is a "war on terrorism" which is funny, when you consider all the terrorist cells are located where none of our troops seem to be stationed. He has hidden behind his agenda for nearly eight years now to the result of one of the most disastrous administrations in American history. Sanjaya on "American Idol" had more support that Bush has right now and you're going to mock Democrats for having a "cultish" support of Clinton?
What would ever make anyone support Clinton? The fact that after two terms, we were economically stronger than we had been since after the Second World War? The fact that there was a strong healthcare system in place, our public schools were in good shape, we weren't fighting a war and there was a strong employment rate in this nation? Yeah, lady... that's really sycophantic of us isn't it... to support a man who didn't spend eight years proving to the nation that he was nothing more than a blithering idiot with a convenient name!
Anyone who still supports this President is not only as blinded as those who drank the Jonestown Kool-aid, they're as rational as them as well. This fool has literally set the controls for the heart of the sun and there are still roughly 30% of this nation roasting marshmallows out the window. For anyone who still supports Bush to mock a Democrat's show of respect for a man who didn't run the country in the same fashion a stoned teenager might run a Taco Bell is about the best description of "the pot calling the kettle black" that I can think of.
When Bush can speak like a Big Boy and not like some prepubescent failure who smugly looks at his own embarrassing defeat with an undeserved sense of self-satisfaction, maybe more than 30% of this nation might applaud him as well. I wouldn't hold my breath though. The latest polls show that over 60% of those who voted for him in both elections now regret their decision.
So is your question just a bunch of sour grapes or what?

Not as significant as the Bush Worship
One key element of Cult followings is they defend their leader. Clinton supporters do not typically do so blindly and with the undying loyalty as the Bush lovers
I would have to say Bush = Cult... Clinton = respect!
Go Team Bush Go

Look what happened at the Pope's funeral....
"when George W. Bush's face appeared on the big monitor that showed part of the funeral the crowd erupted in loud boos"...and, apparently, whistles (which are the European equivalent of boos). Wonder if it was loud enough for that piece of turd to hear it in the church. Hope so.
Why could not the unprecedented crowds of Pope John Paul II's followers simply mourn the Pontiff, and put aside their disparities with President Bush--for just a few hours?
Sparr me the righteousness. Bush is seen as the 'devil' in they eyes of most global citizens. Why would they want his presence at something so sacred to them? It could only sully the event.
Okay....now that the funeral is over and the Pope is buried......is it okay to boo Bush now????????
One-----Two-----Three------BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Clinton got a hero's welcome and many crowded around him to get his autograph.
Maybe dearie...
its because Clinton is a hero and respected
the whole world over...
and Bush is...shall we say...only a hero
to 29% of the American population...
Big difference!

That's bass ackwards. The right can't respond to any criticism of Bush, justified or otherwise, without bringing Clinton into it.
Many people thought Reagan was charismatic. By your definition does that also make him a liar, an adulterer, a hypocrite, and basically scum?

Is the right's fascination with George W. Bush bordering on cultish? Cult leaders are good speakers, usually nice looking, charismatic, liars, adulterers, hypocrites, durggies, and basically scum...
Why don't they see what 70% of Americans and much of the world sees? Blind obedience is exactly what a totalitarian leader loves. I hope they are proud of that.

I really don't understand the thinking of democrats or liberals, so I wouldn't be surprised at anything they think or do. I think they are missing a gene or something, lol.

Maybe that explains it! It goes beyond any reasoning or understanding how, just how they are so blind to all that took place when he was in office!! How could anybody approve of that. Maybe they dont know? Like all the deaths, 35, and 12 body guards doesn't strike any of them as strange? How many scandals that they were investigated for and all the missing records? His affairs are trivial compared to all of this other stuff, it just adds to it. And Hillary now has the gall to run??
