I thought i had implantation bleeding for about 6/7 hours one day last week. Was due on my period 3 days after, i couldnt wait to see if i came on, so i did a pregnancy test...negative :( Came on a day early than normal, was a little different to begin with, was light (flow wise) and in colour, then went brownish and now its gone very dark red. Still getting pains in my stomach. I dont suffer from period pains, never have. I was convinced i was pregnant, was needing the toilet frequently, cramps in my lower stomach, very sore nipples, implantation bleeding....so i thought.
I have NEVER suffered from period pains, so assumed that it was early pregnancy symptoms. My partner and I got our hopes up. I know that you can still have a period whilst being pregnant, my breast have stopped hurting so am i pregnant or not? shall i do another test? dont want another dissapointment. why did i bleed before my period? Is it wishful thinking? VERY confused!
All serious comments welcome
Thanks X

hi it sounds to me you have had a miscarriage. This can happen very early on and is usually called a MISSED MISCARRIAGE but you did have the symptoms and now they are gone. You maybe conceived then started to miscarry a few days later. take another test in a few days and see if it is still neg, if it is the chances that you are preg are virtually nil. go see your doc and tell him/her about it cos if you have miscarried you might need some help and advice to get over it. hope everything works out well for you

Hi,
I went through the same thing two weeks ago. I thought I was pregnant as I did a test and it had a very faint positive line. I went to the docs who said it was positive. I then started having brownish discharge which I thought was implantation bleeding, then it turned red. I did another test a few days later which was negative. I think that it was a miscarriage, or maybe a false negative (which apparantly you cant have) as it felt like my period. I too dont usually suffer with period pains so I think that it was a miscarriage. Please dont stress too much, I know that is hard as I spent two days crying! We are now trying again properly, taking Folic Acid and stopping drinking etc.
I wish you the best of luck, it will happen soon! xx

I fail to see how looking at facts and using logic could be considered "wishful thinking" or somehow inferior to believing in adult fairy tales. Your statement is nothing more than switching words around and a failed attempt at seeming intelligent, not logic as you claim. You failed. Also I cant help but notice that you have no reason for the position you take, instead simply countering a question with the same question thrown back. Who told you this is the proper way to answer an inquiry? God can not exist simply because you think or believe one does. There is no proof or universal need for a god, this is why many of us do not believe. This means we have looked at evidence and lack of evidence, scientific discoveries about the world, read the bible and many other religious text and historical documents, and participated in lots of self searching. How could this possibly make us less intelligent or capable of logical thoughts than a person like you who believes without proof, has no proof, doesn't care about proof and probably doesn't even know what that word really means. You believe blindly and that is stupid.

As for the not suffering from period pains, when I first started getting periods I had mild pain, but nothing bad enough to take meds for. Then with period number 80 (yes, I have kept track) I had to take meds and it hurt bad enough that I stayed in bed for most of the day. Since then I have almost always had to take ibuprofen with my period. (Sometimes more that is advised, especially if I have to do stuff that day.) So, just an example that "normal" can change.

It sounds a bit weird!! I haven't been pregnant myself so I am not sure about your symptoms! The only thing I can suggest you do, is go and visit your GP. You need to explain your symptoms and the things that are happening! He will give you the right treatment or explanation (if needed).

Perhaps you need to wait a bit longer and do another pregnancy test.... They don't always show the results early.

Good luck!!

sound s like stress. i would wait til the day your due or the day after. any sooner could leave you with a false neg. implantation occurs about 7-10 days after ovulationand you still would need a few days after toget the hcg levels to a point where you would have symptoms. good luck and baby dust to you.

It is possible, but don't get your hopes up. try a test in a week to ease your mind, but don't be too diappointed if its negative. While TTC we can make anything inot a pregnancy symptom, believe me
