So for my birthday I got the Duran Duran Greatest CD, and the order of songs makes absolutely no sense. Does anyone know why these songs are in this order?? Thank you

so copy the disk and put it in the order you want them in!!
I do that to my cds all the time.
And why they are in the order they are in is usually the preference of the artists and their producers.

It seems to be a random order.... Save a prayer is older than Ordinary world, so that's not it.
Great CD, but it's definitely not 'the best of Duran Duran' :-)

Ordinary World and Come Undone are two of the most beautiful songs i"ve ever heard. I've been a musician for 42 years! Nobody ever wins when deciding song order. Change it yourself , thats what I do.

it's the band or record company that makes up the song
selection when putting together a greatest hits album.I
agree,the song selection on the Duran Duran greatest hits
CD has a odd song selection.

hmm not sure, maybe they just thought that order would sound good? i love duran duran. does it get any better than The Reflex and Union of the Snake?

I have the CD as well.They are in that order because it starts with thier oldest songs to the newest songs.
Check out New Moon on Monday and Electric Bararella.

Maybe there wasn't an order, maybe they just started blurting out DD back catalogue and that made up the list!

usually greatest hits cds have no specific order
but hungry like the wolf is awesome
