if it's been 30 minutes or more and you haven't gotten a phone call, more than likely you've been stood up.

I would not wait for more than 15-20 mins.
Maybe it is not enough to be 'stood up' , but demand punctuality as well.
Then let him find out if he is 'stood up'.

Isn't this the truth!

I had a guy recently make a date with me for Friday. He said he'd call to confirm later. Two weeks later he calls.Leaves a phone message: can I call him?
You know, if he really wanted to get to know me, he could have called prior to that Friday to say something had come up, so could he call me later.
I have not returned his call. If it starts out this badly, who needs it?

Cut your losses, and be glad it didn't go any further. I am.

30 minutes, unless it happens all the time. If the person is gonna be late there is no excuse for not calling unless something bad happened.
