Hey everyone.. I have a weird question and it's kind of nerve racking.. I'm 14 weeks and 3 days pregnant.. or so they say.. The doctors told me I didn't conceive until around the 9th of March which in my book makes 110 percent sense to me..if you get the drift..... even the lady at the hospital said that dateas well....but my period was feb 15th - 22nd...they told me i ovulate at a different time then the average woman....they also told me to minus two weeks from the actual amount that I'm pregnant and I'd get my real dates and what not.... so that means my baby is ACTUALLY only 12 weeks and three days from the time of conception and they just add the extra two weeks for shits and giggles??? I mean whats up with all this stuff?? It makes my head spin and It's murder trying to explain it all to my boyfriend... we have the technology now so why do they still say 40 weeks?? when it's only 38??? Someone want to fill me in PLEASEEE?!!?

It is confusing, and fact is you'll never REALLY now when baby is ready to come out....just wait till your in your 8month.
I thik by then you'll come to the realization that your going to make the baby come when you want!!! haha "understand?"
But I have some advice for you.....not on when you concevied, because fact is you concevied somewhere between your last period and when your period was supposed to come.
But when your 8 and 1/2 or 3/4 pregnant and really puffy and crabby, buy some castor oil, ask the pharacist to look in there little book of wonders about how to use castor oil to induce labor, (it's usually take about half a bottle, a teaspoon every 2 hours with orange jiuce) and put on your best techno CD and jump around.........trust me I had my baby in 6 hours! It works

I had my 1st at 20 and smoked before and extremely on the initiating and toddler replaced into healthful 9pd. basically tell your mum. she is going to be a grandma and who can get indignant at that. you're an person and function made a sort. tell her which you do no longer assume something from her different than emotional help. Your grandmom is probable going to be delighted that there is a newborn on the way and so is your mum. basically %. the perfect time to tell her. no longer on the same time as she is honestly busy or disillusioned. Wait each and every week or 2 and then tell her. this sort you would be in a greater valuable attitude and function time to rehearse in case you're truly uncertain of her reaction. do no longer make it too formal, basically casually deliver it up. And do it basically you and her otherwise it gets complicated. stable good fortune with toddler and congratulations!

they count form the date you start your period, its an easy date to reference, since not every woman ovulates 14 days after her period starts (I ovulate late, like 18-19 days). That way they can get an accurate read on a due date. It's a 40 week pregnancy, but a 38 week gestation.

Its just stupid! They count day one of your pregnancy the first day you had your cycle! Who knows why! I know it helps with infertility issues! I suffered it for 3 years of trying to conceive and knowing the days are important! Even those stupid 2 weeks before are very crucial in getting pregnant! Its hard to explain you have to live through the other side to understand!
