Though this sounds completely absurb,and makes one question her sanity.Is this remotely possible without hemmorrage,significant bleeding,pain etc.?

A patient CAN remove the IUD but it is advised against by every doctor you talk to. Tell your friend to go see the doctor to make sure she didnt hurt herself removing it. By hurt i mean give herself tiny lesions on her cervix or uterus.

IUD can be removed by the patient without trouble. Its fine

i had my iud removed on feb 9th and no complications, no bleeding, no cramping so she is one of the lucky ones just like i was. it is possible.
