Spending ten weeks trapped in a house with a gang of social retards who haven't got a brain cell to share between them would drive me to suicide. The whole point of Big Brother is to dredge up the scum of British society and put them in a box for people to point and laugh at like so many monkeys. It's pathetic. I'd rather pull my toenails out with pliers than watch five minutes of that shite.

I am the eldest of 9 originally, it would not bother me, i get on VERY well with people (affected people)..and worked in the entertainment industry for YEARS...I know pouting...i am not one of them...weer it to be worth my while, surely I would, and with the money would pay other people's rent.yes it is a stupuid show, but I have NOT had enough fame to warrant my going on the show.....(reasons there)

It is face time for people who want to break into the entertainment industry and feel that being on national TV in a reality series is a fast-track to a fat contract.

I say that most of them people, to not say all, that go on reality shows is to get atenttion and become famous.None of that "I want to make new friends, and be stuck with them to see what happens" crap.We all know what happens because we've seen it happening all over again.
Plus, if you argue with the people you live, imagine with people that don't even know you.They're all there to get 15 minutes of fame.Though,is entertaining to watch sometimes.

I would not like to go on it. I don't know how they pick the contestants. I think they must ask for a show of hands, hoping there's enough to go in the house.

i would go on big brother just to see what its like obviously i would like to win the money but i would not go on there and expect fame afterwards as living in a house and being watched by cameras dosent count as fame to me.

well people are desperate for a bit of fame, fun and attention!
who can blame them, and after all, it does make good tv!
but there are better ways to get noticed and famous, i agree.
