For many people, the reason to go to an amusement park is to ride a roller coaster. Unfortunately, for women who are pregnant, this is an activity that is not recommended.
What is the concern with roller coasters and pregnancy?
The concern with roller coasters during pregnancy is associated with the rapid starts and stops along with jarring that occurs during the ride. This rigorous activity creates additional jarring forces within the uterus that may lead to premature separation of the placenta from the wall of the uterus, which is called placental abruption.
Currently, there are no studies that document a problem with roller coasters while you are pregnant. Similarly, there are no studies documenting that it is safe either. Automobile accidents have caused placental abruption and other complications for women who are pregnant even when the trauma is not directly to the uterus.
Although there have been pregnant women who have ridden a roller coaster without complication, it is a risk that should be avoided. Amusement parks are good at identifying rides that pose risks to pregnant women.
The safest course of action is to play it safe and avoid the rides that pose a risk; you can always return to the park and ride things after you deliver.

I would say OK to the water park, but stay away from the roller coaster. I had a friend within her first couple of months and she miscarried after going to a theme park and riding roller coasters. She did not know she was pregnant.

Waterparks are alright as long as you arent going down any water slides. Swimming is encouraged by doctors as a nice low impact excercise. Roller Coasters arent suggested due to the possible G-force on the human body. Stick with log rides, merry-go-rounds and low intensity rides. If your not totally sure discuss it with your doctor!

Why would you want to chance it?? If you are pregnant, and know you are pregnant then stay off of the rides that jerk you around.. Anything could happen, and then how would you feel. Congratulations and Best of Luck, and PLEASE stay away from the rides.. You can go to the parks just dont ride anything..

Yes completely, many types of exercise would probably be recommended as long they don't become too strenuos,or have continual jarring. A healthy mother to be is a healthy baby to be!!! You know your body, and it's limits.Enjoy yourself, don't push yourself...Medium to high impact----
definately NOT...
