It's a nice slightly breezy day. I don't know where Choctaw Ridge or the Tallahatchee Bridge is so it wasn't me that you saw.

It was the third of June another sleepy dusty delta day. I was out choppin cotton and my brother was bailin hay. There was a virus goin round papa caught it and he died last spring. But me and Billy Joe dont want to do much of anything... Great...now this will be in my head all day!

Mornin' Billy! I had to ask my husband about the song & he had a heck of a time tryin' to think this early (lol he works nights) but, now it's stuck in his head & on a country kick. hmmm I'm not as good at the country as I am the rock & roll! lol
