What makes you think there is a "purpose?" If there is one, it must be: to live as best you can, to have children, and to ensure their future as best you can.

I've heard many people doubt that there is a purpose but I've never seen anyone actually live that way. Without a purpose, our lives don't have worth and we all think our lives have worth. So while they say in a forum like this that there's no purpose, at some other time they'll say they live for their children, spouse, etc.

We either find purpose or we just make it up. If it is out there to be found, then God created us for a purpose and we ought to seek God because He is going to have to reveal His purpose for us.

If we just make up our purpose, then we have to deceive ourselves into believing that it's real because whatever we invent will be in accordance with what makes us feel good and feeling good is not an acceptable reason for living for most of us. So we'll say something like, "I want to leave the world a better place", which makes us feel good to say it.

So seek your Creator or practice self deception. I think it is our purpose, given by our Creator, to seek our Creator.

I believe there is purpose. The purpose is to learn to have a truly meaningful, unselfish relationship with our Creator. Most will never get there. A few will.

There is a truth, there is a life, there is a way. It is a mystery, and the revelation of it is not acceptable to most. try to objectively assess the outcome of the lives of those who believe versus those who do not. Choose what fits for you, you are a sovereign being.

You will enjoy or endure the consequences of your choices.

But in the ultimate end, what really matters.

You can know that truth, and that knowledge will set you free.
