So I know these cars are in different classes and all, but im still trying to decide between the two. is it worh spending a few more grand for a 2007 acura? If i would not get the acura i would go with a fully loaded altima (except navigation).

The Acura is an all around better car. Higher Resale value because its under the almighty Honda Umbrella. The TL comes fully loaded.. i think the only available option is navigation and the wheels. It comes with pretty much EVERYTHING from the bluetooth to leather and a sunroof standard so I think the TL would be a better buy if you have the money for it. I'm kinda biased because I own an RSX type-s but when i was car shopping Acura won me over. I looked at Nissan as well but unless you have the money for a maxima or a 300ZX their isn't really anything Nissan offers that really appeals to me.

Hey man it all comes down to which car can you picture yourself in the longest. Granted the Altima has just been redisgned and will look like that for about 3 to 4 years, while the TL is more of a luxury car. Personally I would go with the Acura even though the Altima is a little cheaper and has a little more power. Test drive first before you buy and read cunsumer reviews. If you do decide to go with the Nissan, wait until the 2008 model, because that allows the 2007 models to revail any potential problems the car may have. Good Luck

No doubt about it, get an Acura.. Nissans can't compare to Acuras when it comes to quality and reputation. It is a few thousand dollars more, but well worth it. The TSX is also an exceptional car, it is a bit cheaper than the TL. I actually like it more than the TL.

The TL is actually a 6 speed manual transmission. Go on to acura.com and click on the TL. They have a direct comparison program that you can use to see all the benefits of each car. The TL is going to depreciate a lot less than the Nissan during the time you own the car, plus it's going to be more reliable and have a better warranty. Get what you want more though.

The TL is a great car, but like you said, is it really worth another $5-7K for a car that is basically equivalent? Personally I'd go with a nicely equipped Maxima or the Hyundai Azera limited before either of these. My qualm with the Altima is that everyone has one.

I prefer the TL and think it a better looking car with more standard luxury features. But for the $$$ saving the Altima is a great buy

Get the M35. It's the better Infinti version of the Altima.

If you can afford the TL, it's worth it. I have an Accord and a Quest - so I know firsthand that Honda makes better cars, but the Nissans are OK.
