How do you make friends? It's a skill that I have lost?

If you want to hang out with someone what do you say to them? I'm afraid they won't be interested in being my friend. It has happened to me in the past. I need practice and advice from my yahoo friends.

Get familiar with the law of attraction and when you apply this knowledge everything will fall in place to the highest of your expectations. What you are attracting now is a result of what you have been focusing on, whatever that may be.

Just keep smiling all the time.
Your presence should make them forget about them.
You should generate positive energy aroud you.
Dont misunderstand the concept you can have so many friends if you are talking vulgar and nonsense also.
They are not real friends.
Just be yourself, calm and serene.
Dont try to show what you are not.
Then you will get a friend who will never leave you in this life.
You should not discuss you problems with your friends in the beginning of your relationship.
They will run away.
Because people will come to you so that they can forget about problems.
Just be funny(not vulgar), calm, caring and loving being.
Just be alive every moment.
Just be yourself.
You should not be scattered by anything you should be centered in your attitude.
Every moment of you should be a like the way you feel when you are facing a cool breeze.

GOD Bless you.

Stop talking about philosophy. It will bore people to tears. Unless the person you are speaking with or hanging out with has an express interest in philosophy, save those conversations for online, or set out to meet people who have the same interests as you do. Expect though, not to be "happy". Philosophy is not a happy conversation item for anyone. It may be interesting, but it isn't fun in any sense of the term. If you think it is fun, then finding people who also think it is fun is important.

Philosophy involves alot of negativity about life. Many people want positive discussion and not seeing the negative problems of life, civilization, etc.

As you get older it might be slightly harder, because people tend to be more wrapped up in themselves.
To make a friend, pay attention to coincidences and go with the flow - if you do not want to go up and try your luck.
See the people who are retained in your lives as you go on, and see those who have common interests. You will stick with them, and they you, because common ground is a genuine bond. You will be drawn to them. And from there, things flow naturally.

You won't feel awkward because you approach each other with the same level of interest. As for hanging out, call them once in a while. Or hang out with those whom you feel comfortable.

you have to be social.
I have become anti-social, but I am okay with it.
If you want to make friends, you have to be outgoing and not afraid to go up and talk to people. Talk about random things. Whatever you feel like or notice. (IE: I like your shirt, where did you get it? How about the weather? Hi, My name is____. Have I seen you before? etc. those are basic communication skills).

Don't go looking for them.

Do what you enjoy doing, where other people do the same and you'll find folk on the same wavelength. Try not to appear to eager or needy.

A friend is one who shares your interests and desires to share them with you without passionate discourse. They are a person you can admire and treat without constantly pointing up their flaws. This is a two way intercourse.
