No, I didn't count the minutes until I got of school. I graduated from High School in 1955. I don't think anyone like tests by the teacher or liked some of their teachers. In school I took auto shop. That actually kept me out of jail, and career in Auto racing. You can make any place, time or situation anything you want it to be. We are only young once, make the best of it.

funny thing is, we all count down the minutes until we get out of high school, but a large number of us will never ever have it as easy as we did when we were in high school. even if you think you have it rough, having to do homework, and all that bs. its not that bad, just wait til you have to get a job deal with your boss/coworkers, pay rent, utilities, car, insurance, food, and all the other stuff that you might take for granted while in that "hell hole". enjoy high school while you can, i certainly wish i would have.

It goes by A LOT faster if you only count the minutes for that day. When you start counting them as a total, it feels like its a lot longer.

I think so. It's been a long time. After that hell-hole called high school, you'll end up in that hell-hole called college, coming up next, that hell-hole called real life. They suck, you'll love em.

sometimes i felt just like you do when i was in high school. I know this will sound so classic but after several years you will not remember bad experiences. The only thing remains will be the increadible fun you had in high school and you will want to be back in that hell. trust me. so what i am trying to say is try to enjoy it when you can. good luck.

I went to a private, all boys Catholic high school. Lots of clicks. I made a couple good friends but, yes, I was looking forward to getting out.

I look back now, however, and wish I'd participated in more activiities, esp. sports. And some really good values were instilled in me.

Yes I did but in hindsight I'd give a million bucks (if I had it) to go back and do it all over again. I'm sure you hear this from us "old" folks all the time but enjoy your youth. Someday you'll grow to look down at the youth out of envy.
