which website offers help or information on Native American Indians who were adopted and search for their parents, sisters, brothers now?

The problem is that the man knows that his brother was adopted and brought out of the reservation and that his adopted brother got another family name. I thought to find a website where an American Indian looks for his heritage

Try this site.

http://www.nicwa.org/

You can also try Googling "Indian Child Welfare Act" which covers the topic of adoption of Native American children. If I'm not mistaken, your friend can go to the adoption agency that handled his case and ask for his biological parental information. This is a special case of the "Indian Child Welfare Act" which allows him access to that information to determine if he is eligible for tribal enrollment.

edit : Unfortunately, there isn't much your friend can do. It's up to the person who was placed up for adoption to find their biological family. Your friend will not be able to access personal information about the adopting family.

Maybe you could start by doing a search on the name of the reservation in question, if you know it.
