I got called in to work today, Sunday and am at work doing the answers thing and would like to be entertained please.

I'm sorry, I know what it is like to be called into work on days I'm not working... lol and I'm only 16...! but you have to cheer up! lol... I guess you don't have to If you don't want to... do you have a cubicle job? I kind of wish I did because if you have a cubicle you can put stuff on the walls AND you get your own computer!... do you have AIM on you computer that you are at?... hey if you don't already have one you could make a myspace for fun and then delete it... lol I used to make fake myspaces it was funny because I ask random people to be my friends... you should listen to music! music will cheer you up! YAY! the power of good music... listen to Billy Tallent... they are a good band!

There was magician on a cruise ship, and he was really good.

He was performing the highlight of his show when a parrot walked onstage and squawked, ''It's in his sleeve!''

The magician chased the bird away.

The next day the magician was performing his highlight again (in front of a smaller audience) when the parrot walked onstage and declared, ''It's in his pocket!''

The next day, as he was performing the highlight, he saw the parrot in the crowd. But before the parrot could ruin the magic trick, the boat crashed into a rock and sank.

The magician was lucky enough to find a board to hang on to. On the other end of the board was the parrot.

They stared at each other for three full days, neither of them saying anything, when suddenly the parrot said, ''I give up, what'd you do with the ship?''

Two statues stood in a city park: one female and the other male. These statues faced each other for many years.

Early one morning, an angel appeared before the statues and said, "Since the two of you have been exemplary statues and have brought enjoyment to many people, I am giving you your greatest wish. I hereby give you the gift of life. You have 30 minutes to do whatever you desire."

And with that command, the statues came to life. The two statues smiled at each other, ran toward some nearby woods and dove behind a couple of bushes. The angel smiled to himself as he listened to the two statues giggling, bushes rustling, and twigs snapping.

After fifteen minutes, the two statues emerged from the bushes, satisfied and smiling.

Puzzled, the angel looked at his watch and asked the statues, "You still have fifteen minutes. Would you like to continue?"

The male statue looked at the female and asked, "Do you want to do it again?"

Smiling, the female statue said, "Sure. But this time YOU hold the pigeon down and I'll crap on its head!"

I certainly know what that is like. Nothing is worse then going to work and not having work to do. I just don't like sitting/standing around until work is over. I've got to keep busy!! My time just drags when I am not busy. Well you didn't mention what you do so that makes it hard to entertain you. I am sure there are creative ways to make your job more interesting. First of all, Don't think of it as "Just a Job".
Appreciate that you do have a job and before you know it then you will have money. YES!!! I know we all have bills and that makes it hard to be able to do something for ourselves but maybe you could promise yourself something small when you get through these work days and get paid. That is a way to feel like your day is worthwhile. Also, I don't know if you are working with customers or you are just stuck behind a guest but this is the opporunity to get to know people better. Look at them as people not customers or someone you are doing a job for. Be friendly, be nice and talk about things that are interesting to you. You will find that your day will go by fast and also your boss will be impressed. There is always a way if there is a will!!! You can always make your area look very nice by cleaning it up and organizing your work load. Also, make grocery lists, checkoff lists of things that need to get done and maybe makes some plans of things you want to get done this summer and jot them on paper. The Perfect Husband

Several men are in the locker room of a golf club. A cell phone on a bench rings and a man engages the hands-free speaker- function and begins to talk. Everyone else in the room stops to listen.

MAN: "Hello"
WOMAN: "Honey, it's me. Are you at the club?"
MAN: "Yes."
WOMAN: "I'm at the mall now and found this beautiful leather coat. It's only $1,000. Is it OK if I buy it?"
MAN: "Sure, go ahead if you like it that much."
WOMAN: "I also stopped by the Mercedes dealership and saw the new 2007 models. I saw
one I really liked."
MAN: "How much?"
WOMAN: "$65,000."
MAN: "OK, but for that price I want it with all the options."
WOMAN: "Great! Oh, and one more thing. The house we wanted last year is back on the market. They're asking $950,000."
MAN: "Well, then go ahead and give them an offer, but just offer $900,000."
WOMAN: "OK. I'll see you later! I love you!"

The man hangs up. The other men in the locker room are looking at him in astonishment.
