I hate that!
I get that from my mom. She once didn't let in relatives from out of state for a whole day so she could clean up the house. They knocked on the door and she wouldn't let them in. She yelled come back in a couple of hours. When they did come back she chewed them out.

All I ask is call first.......give me a heads up.

OMG - we have a couple that does that to us all of the time. Now, I just tell him to walk in because there is no sense in hiding. He stops over a lot.

In my case this is a common occurrence among friends.I did not say acquaintances there is a difference.

That's funny. I do that to my friends all the time. I just drop by when I'm in the neighborhood. Their gf's all hate me.

I have gotten used to it. As long as they knock they are welcome. But I always mention it would help if could just call first. After that they usually do.
