What you can do is download the software to your desk top. Then unplug from server, and remove any and all protection previously that is on your computer. They could interfere with the new software.
Install the software, and if it askes for a code number, then call your provider and they will help you with a number and then let you know when to plug in your provider again. They should be able to talk you through what you need to do. I had to do this the other day. I was with my server for sometime getting the Protection set up. Also there is a site that may help you.

just click on start
go to control panel
open add/remove programs
on the list highlight norton
click remove on right side

But there is a catch with the norton antivirus, you cant totally remove it. Yes you can uninstall the program from your computer, but norton still has some files on windows registry, its taking up space and its very hard to remove. Norton imbeds its antivirus program to the registry that it remains ther even successful uninstallation

I am not sure the other answer is what you wanted.. I am not sure this will be either, but here goes... First, why would you want to install Norton when you already have it?? You lost me there. Secondly, anytime you want it you have to go thru their website or call them on their 800 number and they will email you a download after you pay for it. I believe, like the other answerer, that you have to delete it before adding it AGAIN..
Signed...confused...

You will probably need to go to your provider's web site to get the download, or get a CD from your provider to install it. You may have to install their software as a package, so if you don't want to do that, you may have to purchase Norton AV seperately.
