I am pretty good at being tactful. As a teacher I have had to be tactful not only with my students but also with parents. You need to be honest if their child is having a problem but there is a way to word things so as not to sound negative and to let the parent know you are on their child's side.
I am tactful as well with friends and loved ones as much as I can be. You can get your point across without "hitting" someone on the head with it.

Not very, the blogbaba's strong suit has never been tact. I am bluntly honest to a fault, so I have no need of tact. I say yes when I mean yes, and no when I mean no.
