I have a compaq presario sr2019 uk desktop pc, does anyone know the type of RAM that is required as I am looking to upgrade.

Go to the following web site and download Cpuz, and run it. It will tell you the type and speed of the ram that is installed on your machine.

If you knew the motherboard name or model number you could go to the Compaq website and look it up fairly easily.

go to www.crucial.com and use their scanner to check. Crucial can tell you compatible ram for your computer and you can also buy it there if you want.
