The offer letter also stated guarrentee home sale and relocation to city. I did fullfill my side . Company did not do their part. I am currently working for company. I did let company know that they did not do their part in selling our home or buying it. Company did send a corporate person to talk with us. They asked us to hold off in contacting a lawyer. now we do not get any respond from them. Does any one know what can be done? Do we have any legal recourse? Is a offer letter a Contract? One more thing Company relocated us to diffrent city and all this happened within a 4 week time frame. Thank you

If the offer letter does not stipulate a timeframe in which to either sell or purchase your home, then contacting an attorney now is worthless.

No one can advise you unless we have a copy of the agreement / offer letter and can determine what the specific language is regarding the issue.

Contact a lawyer IMMEDIATELY!!! The corporate person was only sent to you to talk to you and pursuade you NOT to talk to a lawyer. They are trying to cover their butts because of their errors. Call a lawyer now!!!

Contact a lawyer and get this documented. Just don't move forward yet. Your lawyer will know how to handle this.

If you have it in writing, and it is signed by the company, then yes you do. Consult with an attorney to see what your options are.
