what do you think 1) you have a written destiny or 2) you make your own destiny?

My mother and I always argue about it very bad I say we make our own destiny and she says that God already has one for us, what do you think?

i think we form our own destiny or our already formed destiny has many paths and we choose them and it rools out untile we choose our path again

I think its a little bit of both. Like you can make your destiny but I think god knows that you would make that destiny already.

2.. there would be no point to living if our lives were already written out for us. "Destiny" and "fate" are just excuses used by people who want to revel in a faux reality whenever something bad happens.

I believe it is written for us. But I think it is like one of those books you read in your childhood where you had to make a decision, then turn to a specific page based on the decision that you made.

I think its kinda both. god has a "plan" but we can change it up alittle.
E.g: god has in our destiny that we're gonna get married and have ! kid. But u decide who u marry.
