Wait at least for the outcome of the US-Iranian talks. The US needs Iran to get out of Iraq. Iran and Syria have more influence in Iraq then the remnants of the "Coalition of the Willing".

I doubt whether Iran would attack Israel, even though the Iranian President has threatened to "wipe Israel off the map" (at least that's whats dubbed by the western press).

Iran would only attack if it is struck first. Everyone has the right to self defence and war doesn't benefit anybody.

And you say "nuke Iran", do you have any idea what the consequences of a nuke strike can be?

Maybe. Iran will attempt to destroy Israel. He said it, not me. Pre-emptive attacks don't work to well. I wouldn't support a nuke, due to the massive casualties to the innocent, but I would support a military maneuver.

no. think about the negative reaction to that action. you might also consider Iran hasn't attacked anyone in centuries. they will have a new president, with different views in 2009
