Teams I think are legitimate superbowl contenders:
AFC: Patriots, Chargers, Colts, Ravens, Broncos
NFC: Saints, Eagles, Bears, Panthers
In the AFC it will come down to the Chargers and the Patriots. The Patriots are a contender every year and have added a lot of talent in the offseason. The Chargers are an excellent team as well, but I think it will come down to how sore the Chargers are about losing early in the playoffs last year. The Chargers are going to want the win more and sometimes that's what matters. The Chargers are going to win the NFC.
In the NFC the Bears defense was exposed for having a few flaws. Tony Dungy created the Tampa 2 so it was only natural than he knew where its weaknesses were. The Bears defense will probably be great again but the offense will struggle too much for the Bears to repeat as NFC champs. The Eagles are usually a contender to win the NFC and the NFC championship game will probably be the Eagles against the Saints. It will come down to Sean Payton making better play calls than Andy Reid. Both are very talented teams but sometimes coaching matters more. The Panthers have some holes on defense and will struggle against the stacked Saints offense.
In the superbowl the Chargers will beat the Saints. Both teams have great offenses, but the Chargers have a much better defense than the Saints. I don't feel that the Saints did enough to fix their defense in the offseason to compete against the best of the AFC. This will be the Chargers year.

That would be Denver and I am not being at all biased, because it was already done
Now I think you mean XLII. You don't use 4 Xs people it is XL for 40 and then you add the 2 Is. Now when we get to 45 it will be VX for those unfamiliar with Roman Numerals.
As to who will win Superbowl 42 I think the Ravens have one of the best chances in the AFC, depending on how they score.

Dude learn your roman numerals and proper spelling before posting a question. SuperBowl XXXII (32) was between Green Bay and Denver. Denver won it. You meant to say SuperBowl XLII (42) and frankly i dont know because any team can shock the league and make a push in the playoffs. A perfect example was in the NBA last night when Lebron James and the Cavaliers shocked everyone and beat Detriot to go to the NBA Finals.

I'm a Jets fan. So it hurts real bad but I'm positive the Patriots are going to win the super bowl. Brady threw for over 3500 yards last year. Their number one reciever (Reche Caldwell) is now the third best on the team behind Randy Moss and Donte Stallworth. Their passing game will be unstoppable. They also improved their defense which already gave up the 2nd fewest points per game and 6th fewest yards per game in the league. Maroney is a solid back, the coaching and experience are obviously there. This is going to be one the best teams of our time.

Based on offseason moves, I would say the Patriots. I really like what they did, giving Brady more weapons including Randy Moss. And adding Adalius Thomas to that 3-4 defense. It seems like Bill Bilicheck and Tom Brady are going for another ring.

Den over Indy in the afc championship
Sea over Phili in the nfc championship
Den over Sea for the superbowl
in a side note Pats loose in the first round and Moss demands to be traded again.

Same, I think it's the Ravens, although I'm a Colts fan. Ravens have a great running game with the addition of McGahee and their O-Line is great. Their defense will still be lights out. I still hope the Colts will go all the way again though. If you really think about it, the Colts have always lost key players and have always been able to replace them. Plus, our offense got better with Anthony Gonzalez

Superbowl XXXII was played about ten years ago and I think the game has already been decided. Not sure though.
