I had the same problem. Do you snore?
Either way I suggest having a sleep study done. I had one and it most likely saved my life. I had sleep apnea and stopped breathing 426 times during the night! My blood/oxygen levels were waaaaay down. I was on the verge of a heart attack and/or stroke! I have been fitted with a CPAP machine (never spend a night away without it) and I sleep like a baby now. I sleep all night, I'm well rested, and much happier.

It all depends on the diet you follow. Try eating less food at night and a glass of warm milk would help you sleep better. Check that the place you sleep is quite comfortable, sometimes that may cause you to be awake.
Generally, a person is expected to have 8 hours of sleep, but there is no hard and fast rule, one may sleep for 5 hrs and still be refreshed for the whole day.

Well they make some teas for that. Also you could try a sound soother I use one it helps because it makes it so you can't hear any distractions out of your room. Try like Tylenol PM for a night or two to get you in a pattern but don't take it too much. If worse comes to worse go to your doctor.
