Well I am 6 years older than my husband and we will be married 26years this June 6th. Our marriage over all has been good and any problems we encountered only seem to make it stronger. We have 2 grown children and now 2 Grandchildren and 1 on the way. So I personally do not think it matters. What matters is your Love and commitment for your partner and how much of yourself you are willing to compromise and give for the sake of your partner and visa versa.

I think it would only be a difference if the age gap prevented you from enjoying your time together. If you had completely different interestes/thoughts/opinions/preferences etc caused by the age difference. Other than that, if you are both OK with it and not facing anby problems in your relationship because of it, it makes no difference. Age is just a number as it's already been said..

Not neccesarily. If you are dating( as teenagers or elem-middle) yes it does. most of the time the girl is younger. The girl may be teased about "younger guys" and this could hurt her feelings. But, if they get married and love eachother and are so happy- it doesn't matter! Nothing and no one could hurt a woman if she likes or loves a younger man(as long as she isn't 40 and he is 27) or something like that!

I am older than my husband and there is no problem. That is an ooooold thing to put on a relationship. Men used to get women in neighboring villages or towns who were 12 or 14 to be their wives. And wife meant slave, basicly. Slave around the house, sex slave, etc. Its all really dependant on maturity.

No, I am 9 months older than my husband. Even if the age gap were bigger, as long as we have something in common and love each other, age shouldn't be an issue

no it doesnt matter but the problem usually comes in that the woman finds herself with a immature wandering eye kind of guy. unfortunately im attracted to younger guys myself and have been burned because of it. but i think if the guy is mature enough then no it doesnt matter

It matters to some but not all. As long as no one is married to someone else when they meet and as long as both parties are over 18 it should be ok.
