The sense of pervasive entitlement the employees of the government exude. They often take the attitude that we work for them, instead of the opposite.
I don't like them deciding, in back room deals and rider bills, how to blow money without accountability.
I don't like that they invade my privacy and then offer statements such as "if you don't have anything to hide, then why are you worried", since that is not the point of privacy. The point of privacy is that it is nobody's damn business how I live my life.
I don't like that our government has changed the inward thinking attitude of taking care of our country first (which is how it was until we went to ww11), to the attitude of "we are here to mold the world"
But...I don't hate the government, since it is my government. I just don't like that most people are ill informed and do not pay attention to the issues, thereby letting those less than honest people who have control, abuse me and my constitutional rights.
It really boils down to a lack of respect I have for the population at large, since THEY are the government and THEY choose to ream me over in many small ways, by not paying attention to what the people they vote for are doing to all of us.
So..I have issues with ill informed people electing idiots, not the idiots themselves.

If a person near you has a mentally disabled child, you don't punish the child for pulling out your flowers, you seek to explain, rather, to the parent, that THEY are responsible for the actions of their child.

I hate the fact that a lot of them are crooks, i.e. A. Hastings, etc.

I hate the fact their are no term limits in congress. I feel that would go a long way towards solving a lot of our problems in government.

I hate the fact they treat us like morons who don't know what we want or what is going on.

I hate the fact that government isn't transparent and that our schools don't teach us enough to know what they ARE doing for the most part.

I hate the fact that politicians pander to audiences instead of giving speeches where they outline their policies clearly and effectively. I.E. Hillary Clinton "I don't feel no ways tired" speach.

I hate the fact our government is becoming a Nanny State where the government has to take care of EVERYTHING

I hate the IRS, it shouldn't be that hard to collect taxes.

I hate the fact that the government makes 36-65 cents off every gallon of gasoline, when "Big oil" only makes about 9 cents off a gallon of gasoline. The government didn't research where or how to get the oil, they didn't put money up as a risk to build the oil well, they didn't refine the oil, all they do is make pure profit off of it, they are the REAL crooks.

I hate the fact our government didn't do anything real in securing our country after 9-11 and we still have open borders.

I hate the fact we import goods from China daily that are dangerous and possibly life threatening. China has almost no product control, as seen by the toothpaste that just came in, and by the pet food, which by the way was fed to chickens which you probably ate. WE NEED COUNTRY OF ORIGIN FOOD LABELING, AND WE NEED TO STOP IMPORTING FOOD FROM CHINA!

I'm sure there's more but that's just off the top of my head.

I don't hate the government, and I agree that "George Bush" is a useless answer.

I dislike government that is structured to make decisions for me, like social security for my retirement (thank you I can decide my own savings), or health care (thank you again I can take care of my own bills), or that requires me to pay for those things for other people. I like freedom but with freedom comes individual responsibility. Be responsible for yourself.

Because the level of corruption that has plagued this government and the checks and balances that were put in place for these kinds of acts have been ignored.

The second thing is that we have the audacity to attack another country for the reason of liberating them from a corrupt dictator and this country isn't so far behind. I am sooooooooo embarrassed to tell people that I am an American. And the people in this country just continue to live their lives as though nothing is going on.

It is too big and too pervasive.

It is inefficient to the point of being a joke.

A real-world business run like the government would not be in business for long.

(Most) Politicians are self-serving, incompetent and pompous.

The fact that *both* parties seem willing to sell out this country to special interest on the immigration and border security issue.

I can't tolerate the way business is done and who gets what. It doesn't make a difference what party is in power, it is such a bureaucratic nightmare and no one knows how to stop the horrendous escalation of lies!
