So, I started my period late 2 weeks ago exactly today . . period was a little heavy but nothing unusal. Lasted the usual 5 days, since then almost every day for two weeks, i have been spotting brown blood and today its like thick blood almost like period again. I have been having unprotected sex for over 3 months now but always had regular periods. Can someone tell me whats goin on like its really werid, and i think it may be unheathly to be bleeding for this long. Anyhelp i'd appreciate

This could be a very serious issue, considering you also have not been protecting yourself against STD's or pregnancy.
I would talk to a doctor immediately and find out what is going on.

I'm not sure what is going on, but do you think you may have had an early miscarriage? If your period was late, then heavy and prolonged-it sounds like a possibility. Are you having US to try and conceive? I always chart my period-it is an extremely helpful tool in keeping track of reproductive health.

It sounds like you were pregnant and aborted. You need to get checked out. If the bleeding continues, it may mean you have not completely expelled the embryo or placenta. You may need to have it scraped out with a proceedure called a D&C. It's uncomfortable, but not horrible.
