The only pies that I like are Apple: Mince" and Lemon. I remember during the lean years of the Great Depression in the late 1920's and early 1930's that in order to stretch food, my Mom would make Chicken Pot Pie or a variation thereof. I hated it then, and I still cannot think about eating one.

Yes, the way Mortons and Swansons used to make them. Now they have about 2 pieces of chicken and 3 peas! And all crust!
