You can be pro-war if you want . Hey , it's a free country right ?!
But what I want to know is. . . . . . Have you considered that if we don't go after Radical Islamists wherever they are , they will continue to grow stronger ?
Hell , they're fighting in more than 30 countries right now and I'm sure you're logical enough to know that it will get worse if we stop going after them . And simply saying that we should be fighting them in Afghanistan or Iraq is getting real old . They're fighting in more than 30 countries !!
If they're fighting in more than 30 countries, why are we only attacking terrorists in 2 specific countries?
Wouldn't it make more sense to fight an unconventional war on terror, globally, instead of fighting 2 conventional wars in specific countries?

I would agree with the posters who suggested there are covert agents working on this.
New York PD actually has counterterrorism officers stationed in 10 countries including Israel and Jordan.
I'm sure there's a lot more than that total.
We're spread very thin by the wars. I we concentrated more on terror and less on two specific countries, I'd imagine we'd make more progress overall.

Because the only war on terror that's happening is to the rights of the American people, the Bush Regime has done a splendid job of it.
If we want to stop terrorist , then let's stop them. Instead our great leaders are using them to exploit other countries for their own economic agenda.

Im an avid war supporter. I support our all volunteer military. Yes there is a war on terror. A global one. A lot of behind the scenes activity is going on right now that we dont know about. Is it going to take another 9/11 or worse to wake up the liberals who can do nothing but complain. We have all the freedoms in the world. We wake up every morning and can speak what we think without reprisal. Our stores are full of food. We can buy gasoline. We have clothes on our backs. We have the best education system in the world even if it is run by whining liberals. Our economy is strong. If our country is so bad, why are we even discussing an immigration bill for those who want to live here. Why do other countries hate us for who we are and what we have, but they all want to live here. Why?

We are fighting in many countries, eventually the libs will reveal the clandestine operations to the world and hamper our efforts.Dude, this is the beginning of ww3.This time its the islamonazis that want to turn everyone into a religious fruit cake and corner the market on prayer rugs.Where is adolf hitler and joe stalin when you need them to do some clean up?The way to stop this is to make an example of a country like iran.Nuke a major city or two without warning. This is a message they will understand, promise the same for any country that harbors terrorists.End of jihad! Worked real well in Japan in ww2! We need a leader with a set of huge balls that can change the attitude here, there is no victory without crushing the enemy. We cannot negotiate with religious fanatics, since giving up any portion of your freedom is not an option.Screw world opinion!

It is a free country, indeed.
Terrorism will get worse, especially if the terrorists see America backing down. Their "plan" to make Islam a worldwide religion didn't just happen overnight ... they have been working on it, so subtly, for decades. Anyone who thinks Muslim extremists just decided one day to fly airplanes into the WTC is mistaken, and sorely underestimates their tenacity and fanaticism.
As you mention, terrorism is being fought in many countries. Islam is the fastest growing religion, and has been for twenty years.
Young men are sent to America to be educated, then return to their country and either a) realize how dirt poor and uneducated the people are, and how much better they could be, or b) they are convinced that America is heathen, what with women showing their faces in public, wearing skirts above the ankle, and people drinking alcohol!
We have got to be very careful, and protective of our way of life. Otherwise, our daughters and granddaughters may be wearing burkas and our sons and grandsons may be forced to pray to Mecca five times a day.

What war? But yes I do support it. In November of 2001 Bush had the strongest political support percentage of any president. Now that people feel as thought the process in Iraq is taking too long they want to turn tail and run. The President explained it then before it all started that it would take along time and we would see casualties. So get real folks he did not lie or cheat or steal. Unlike the previous president and his life partner.

These people have a holy land . this land and those leaders must perish if terrorism is ever going to end .
Its like killing bee's who sting your kids on the school yard .
Till you destroy the nest you have accomplished nothing .
If that means cutting down the tree that shades the principles car oh well .
We must step up our efforts by going to our most effective weapons . Tactical nukes and 20 megaton nukes to eliminate the root causes of terrorism . Islam a religion dedicated to violence regardless of what they might say .

How do YOU know that we don't have special forces and counter intelligence opperatives in countries outside of Iraq and Afghanistan? What makes you think the ONLY place we're fighting terrorism is in those two countries?
I would MUCH rather have terrorists being dealt with quickly and quietly in VARIOUS countrys via special forces and anti-terrorism units. That way I don't have to listen to people like you complaining about US efforts in Iraq & Afghanistan day after day after day after day after day after day after day.........

We are also fighting it unconventional too.
That is why we busted two plots we know of so far before they killed people.
Most of the victories will go unseen because in that kind of warfare the only time you hear about it is when they feel to release the information it won't put agents or systems at risk or they screw up.
