A USB hub is an adaptor that you can get. It is bascially a little box with 4 or more extra usb slots in it and you plug it in to one of your existing usb slots that are contained in the back of your tower (some have extra slots on the front too), You can get them from pc world etc

Hi there. You will find your USB hub at the back of your computer tower. Look for a little symbol which looks like three braches.

I have sent a weblink. There is a picture with a USB cable in there, and you can clearly see the symbol on the cable. It is this symbol which you need to find at the back of your computer.

Look at the pictures with the two cables in there, you should be able to see the three brach symbol im talking about. Look for that symbol at the back of the computer.

Unless you count the USB ports on teh back of the computer, a USB hub is usually external.

A USB hub basically plugs into a USB port on your computer, but on the hub it splits into 4 or so USB's

...It takes 1 USB port and turns it into a bunch of USB ports.

A USB hub is a seperate item from the PC - it allows multi USB connections to spur from it - you will have USB ports on your PC and they are usually at the front or side - rectangular slots
