Can i install windows vista, saved on a local drive, not on a CD/DVD?

I'm asking this because i heard from someone that problems in the setup occur when u install windows saved on your PC, rather than on a DVD.

If you bought Vista legally, follow the instructions.

If not, yes.

you probably dont have all the files you need saved on the local drive. you need to run it from the dvd to insure no problems.
